ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Medaille College men's tennis team traveled to Nazareth College for their non-conference match today. The Mavs took a tough 0-7 loss to the Golden Flyers and move to 1-1 on the season.

After a major win over conference opponent Mount Aloysius, the Mavs battled with the Golden Flyers. Jason McCarthy (Cheektowaga, NY, Maryvale) and Akar Kyaw (Buffalo, NY, McKinley) did well playing the #1 Doubles. Ben Tubbs (Painted Post, NY, Corning-Painted Post) also played well in the #2 Doubles slot and the #4 Singles.

The Mavs will use this to prepare for their weekend matches starting with Pitt-Greensburg on Saturday, March 12 at 3:00 p.m. They will then take on Penn State Altoona on Sunday, March 13 at 12:30 p.m.
