BRADFORD, P.A. – The Medaille College women's tennis team won their final regular season match against the University of Pittsburgh Bradford on Wednesday evening. Despite being on the road, the Mavs kept their composure and took down the Panthers 7-2.
In their last regular season match as Mavericks,
Jasmine Mott (N. Tonawanda, NY, Starpoint) and
Kristina Hryshchuk (East Aurora, NY, Iroquois Central) impressed in the first doubles match winning 8-1. The duo of
Emily Jablonski (Alden, NY, Alden) and
Ali Richardson (Depew, NY, Maryvale) made their mark with an 8-3 second doubles win.
Mott continued to dominate on the court with her singles match score of 6-1 and 6-0. Hryshchuk, Jablonski,
Arianna Lysiak (Cheektowaga, NY, Maryvale), and
Zea Dutton (Niagara Falls, NY, Niagara Falls) all grabbed major wins in their singles matches to lift the Mavs over the Panthers.
The Mavs put forth a great effort finishing the regular season at 6-4. The AMCC tennis tournament kicks off Saturday, October 16 in Wexford Pennsylvania at 4:30 p.m.
