ELMIRA, N.Y. – The Medaille College golf team traveled to the Elmira Country Club for the Elmira Invitational Tuesday afternoon. Oswego State finished in first place with a 343 followed by SUNY Delhi in second place with a 346. The Mavericks placed sixth shooting 400.

Despite difficult weather conditions, the Mavs still did well on the course with Ben Tubbs (Painted Post, NY, Corning-Painted Post) leading the charge with an 89. Zach Barlow (Depew, NY, Depew) finished two strokes behind Tubbs with a 91 while Bryce Smith (College Station, TX, A&M; Consolidated) shot a 107. Nick Carmichael (Ontario, NY, Wayne) finished the day with a 113 and Carter Bolles (Alden, NY, Alden) put up a 117.

The Mavericks will look to continue to improve this upcoming Fall season after a productive Spring.
