BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Medaille College golf team hosted the Pitt-Bradford Panthers Thursday afternoon held at the Diamond Hawk Golf Course. Due to an incomplete Bradford team, the score is judged as a non-contest.
The Mavs battled the elements facing strong winds and rain throughout the day. Despite the difficult conditions, the Maverick golfers still scored well in the matchup. Junior
Zach Barlow (Depew, NY, Depew) led the Medaille team with a 90 after 18 holes of play. Freshman
Ben Tubbs (Painted Post, NY, Corning-Painted Post) followed closely behind with a 94.
Sophomore
Bryce Smith (College Station, TX, A&M; Consolidated) shot a career-low 98 on the day and
Carter Bolles (Alden, NY, Alden) finished with a 119.
Nick Carmichael (Ontario, NY, Wayne) and
Ben Grawe both shot a 120.
The Mavericks will travel to Elmira College on Tuesday, April 26 for their next contest. The team will compete at the Elmira Country Club starting at 11:00 A.M.
