BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Medaille College women's bowling team took on cross-town rival D'Youville College for a dual match on Sunday. The Mavs won two out of three Baker matches (855-788, 878-821, and tied at 956 with D'Youville winning the tie breaker 94-86).
Mackenzie Smith (Burlington, ON, Dr. Frank J. Hayden Secondary School) led the Mavericks in both total pinfall with 639, and a 22.03 average.
Sarah Radt (Orchard Park, NY, Orchard Park) recorded a pinfall of 375 averaging 18.75 while
Taylor Strickland (Roslin, ON, Centre Hastings Secondary School) put up a 317, averaging a 16.68.
Paige Snook (Gaines, NY, Charles D'Amico) had a 216 with a 21.6 average while
Paige Herndon (Toano, VA, Warhill) recorded a 19.5 average with a 273 total pinfall.
Kendyll Jaskier (West Seneca, NY, West Seneca East) knocked down 310 pins and
Abigail Krull (Grand Island, NY, Grand Island) made the most of her opportunities averaging 19.44 pins.
The Mavs will host the Medaille College Invitational next weekend on February 26 and 27.
