BRADFORD, P.A. – The Medaille College golf team competed in their first tournament on Saturday at Pitt-Bradford. The Mavericks competed as individuals.
The Mavs played at the Pennhills Club course in Bradford, P.A. The course was a par 70 where they played 6,400 yards. Head Coach Laura Edholm described the course as, "small greens with lots of undulations."
It was a great start to the season for freshman, Ben Tubbs. He finished with an 80. Tubbs was tied for 20
th place in the individual scores. Returner Zach Barlow battled hard and finished with a 90. He was tied for 39
th place in the individual scores.
The Mavs next action on the course will be at Grove City on Thursday, September 9. Their tee time will be at 1:00pm.
