ERIE, P.A. – The Medaille College women's tennis team had a clean sweep in their conference matchup against Pitt-Bradford today. The Mavericks won the match 9-0.
In the singles matches
Arianna Lysiak (Cheektowaga, NY, Maryvale) played lights-out winning 6-0 in both sets.
Emily Jablonski (Alden, NY, Alden) and
Jasmine Mott (N. Tonawanda, NY, Starpoint) added a set win 6-0 in their singles matches.
Hallie Dworzanski (N. Tonawanda, NY, Niagara-Wheatfield),
Kristina Hryshchuk (East Aurora, NY, Iroquois Central), and
Ali Richardson (Depew, NY, Maryvale) finished the singles win sweep for the Mavericks.
Doubles teams Mott and Dworzanski, Hryshchuk and Richardson, and Jablonski and
Zea Dutton (Niagara Falls, NY, Niagara Falls) won their matches to give the Mavericks the 9-0 conference win.
The Mavs will host Thiel College on Saturday October 2 for their next match. They will get started at 4:00pm at the Village Glen Tennis Club.
