ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. - The Medaille men's golf team traveled to the Harvest Hill Golf Course to compete in the Hilbert College Fall Invitational. The Mavericks continue to improve as they had their best performance of the season with a combined score of 374.

Ben Tubbs (Painted Post, NY, Corning-Painted Post) had a great day on the course where he shot a team low of 85. Tubbs was tied for fourth place out of 18 in the individual scores. Zach Barlow (Depew, NY, Depew) had the next best score for the Mavs with 88 and tied for eighth place.

Jake Justice (North Tonawanda, NY, North Tonawanda) had a strong day where he only fell a few strokes behind Tubbs and Barlow with 93. Carter Bolles (Alden, NY, Alden) made his mark on the competition and shot his best score of the season with a 106.

The Mavericks will return to action on Monday, October 4 to play in the Behrend Invitational. The match will be held at the Lawrence Park Country Club in Erie, P.A.
