BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Medaille College men's golf team competed in the Medaille Invitational today at their home course, Diamond Hawk Golf Course. They were up against Hilbert College, Keuka College, Pitt-Bradford, and Elmira College. The team had an overall score of 391, which put them fifth of five teams.

It was a beautiful day for a match on the par 72 course. Zach Barlow (Depew, NY, Depew), Nick Carmichael (Ontario, NY, Wayne), and Bryce Smith (College Station, TX, A&M; Consolidated) all had great days shooting their lowest of the season. Barlow shot an 89, Carmichael shot a 112, and Smith shot a 110. Jake Justice (North Tonawanda, NY, North Tonawanda) was the third lowest score for the Mavs with a 106, and Ben Tubbs (Painted Post, NY, Corning-Painted Post) was the leader with an 86. Carter Bolles (Alden, NY, Alden) played as an individual and shot a 112.

The Mavericks will travel to Hilbert College on Tuesday, September 28. They have a tee time of 12:00 p.m.
