WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. - The Medaille College women's tennis team lost their first match of the season today to the Pitt-Greensburg Bobcats. The Mavericks lost 7-2.

The Mavs had a tough day today after their opening win against La Roche yesterday. They lost multiple close matches.

Jasmine Mott (N. Tonawanda, NY, Starpoint) and Hallie Dworzanski (N. Tonawanda, NY, Niagara-Wheatfield) had a great tie-breaking win in the first doubles match. Freshman Arianna Lysiak (Cheektowaga, NY, Maryvale) had an impressive sixth singles win.

The Mavericks will travel to Nazareth College for their next match. It is set to start at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 15.
