Women's Bowling Goes Undefeated in Day One of AMCC Round Robin

LATROBE, P.A. – The Medaille College women's bowling team hit the road for day one of the first Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Round Robin of the season. The Mavs went undefeated in all five matches on the day using Baker scoring.

The Mavericks started strong beating Penn State Altoona 887-742, and Pitt Bradford 885-797. In the third match of the day, the Mavs rose to the challenge and put up their best total pinfall score of 953, topping Pitt Greensburg's 849.

Medaille continued their dominating performance with a 935-739 win over New Jersey City, and an 827-718 win over Penn State Behrend.

Sarah Radt (Orchard Park, NY, Orchard Park) came to play with a team-high total pinfall of 929 and a Baker frame average of 18.95. Mackenzie Smith (Burlington, ON, Dr. Frank J. Hayden Secondary School) followed closely behind Radt with an 890 total pinfall averaging 17.80. Taylor Strickland (Roslin, ON, Centre Hastings Secondary School) and Kendyll Jaskier (West Seneca, NY, West Seneca East) finished with a total pinfall of 686 and 624 respectively. Paige Herndon (Toano, VA, Warhill) was efficient for the Mavs rolling a 380 total and Baker average of 19.

The Mavs will look to continue their undefeated play on Sunday for day two of the AMCC Round Robin held at St. Vincent College.
