ALFRED, N.Y. – The Medaile College cross country teams competed in the AMCC Championships held at Alfred State College. The men's team finished in third place with 61 points while the women's team finished in fourth place with a score of 66.
Junior
Nicholas Cicero (Williamsville, NY, Williamsville South) was the top finisher for the men with an 8K time of 31:55 good for eighth place out of 39 runners. Freshman
Joshua Wolski (Amherst, NY, Amherst) finished the race with a time of 34:01 taking 15
th place. Senior
Dialo Rivera-Stevens (Buffalo, NY, Riverside) finished in 18
th place with a 35:44 followed by
Ga'Vintay McGhee (Lumberton, NC, Leesville Road) in 20
th with a 36:32.
Junior
Erin Hardick (Amherst, NY, Sacred Heart Academy) was the top finisher for the women with a 6K time of 28:47 good for an impressive third place out of 34 runners. Sophomore
Katherine Bobowicz (Clarence, NY, Sacred Heart Academy) finished in sixth place with a time of 30:19.
Penn State Behrend took first place in both the men's and women's competition followed by Alfred State.
