Jeff Walsh

Jeff Walsh is entering his first year as Head Coach of the Women's Bowling team following five seasons with the program including two as the Associate Head Coach. Born in Cheektowaga, NY and a graduate of Kenmore East High School, Walsh has been a part of the Western New York bowling circuit and national bowling industry for over 28 years.

The Mavericks Bowling program has seen unprecedented success since Walsh joined the coaching staff in 2016-17, winning the 2019 AMCC Regular Season Title, three straight AMCC Tournament Championships and finishing the last two seasons season with a top 15 national ranking for the first time in program history.

In 2018, Walsh helped guide the Mavs to one of the most historic seasons of any team in Medaille history, earning the AMCC's first ever automatic bid to the NCAA Championships and becoming just the third Division III program to ever accomplish such a feat. He also helped guide his daughter, Morgan, to back-to-back AMCC All-Conference First Team honors.

In 2021, he would help the Mavs find their way back to the NCAA Tournament and defeat the eventual National Champions, the University of Nebraska in the opening round.

As a competitor Walsh has bowled a 300 on 77 different occasions, and bowled an 800 series 24 different times.

He has worked in pro shops for the past 28 years, and for 20 of those years has also been a coach and instructor.

Spent three and a half years in Las Vegas running multiple facilities for K & K Bowling Service; while also having experience working for AMF Distributor and Columbia 300/Track Bowling.

Jeff is married to his wife of 20 years Christine, and his daughter Morgan graduated from Medaille this May with a Master's Degree after earning her Bachelor's from Medaille in May of 2018.
