Ken White is entering his fifth season as the Head Coach of the Medaille Women’s Tennis program, as well as his fifth season as Head Coach of the newly formed Men’s Tennis Program.

During White's first season he was able to lead the Mavericks to a program record 7 wins, five of which coming in AMCC play, and earning Medaille a trip to the AMCC Tournament for the second time in the last three seasons.

Their first round match against Pitt-Greensburg was the first time in Women’s Tennis history that Medaille hosted an AMCC Tournament match, and was just one of many firsts for the program in 2017.

Freshman Jasmine Mott was named the AMCC Newcomer of the Year, becoming the first Maverick in program history to earn an individual postseason award, while the pairing of Cho Thiri Tun and Katherine Turner was the first doubles pairing in program history to be named to the AMCC All-Conference Team.

The Mavs reached even further heights in his second season, once again setting a new program record with nine wins. Medaille once again won five games in conference and hosted an AMCC Tournament Opening Round matchup for the second straight season, this time defeating D'Youville and advancing to the AMCC Semifinals for the first time in program history. In two season White has earned a record of 16-9 overall and 10-6 in AMCC play.

Spring of 2019 also saw White lead the Medaille Men's Tennis program in their inaugural NCAA season after competing at the club level in 2018. It was a banner year for the Mavs as they won five of their first six matches ever and earned a spot in the AMCC Semifinals thanks to a 7-4 overall record and 4-2 record in conference play.

In addition juniors Matthew Burke and Jonny Pitts both earned spots on the All-Conference Team in their first ever seasons, with Burke earning AMCC All-Conference First Team honors in #5 singles with Pitts earning Second Team honors in #6 singles. Together they paired to earn AMCC All-Conference Second Team honors at the #3 doubles spot.

In the fall of 2019, the Women's Tennis team enjoyed a historic season, clinching their best regular season finish in program history and making it to their first-ever AMCC Title Game.

White has been just as successful on the court himself, winning more than 20 national titles in both singles and doubles, while seven times being selected to represent the USA in international competition as a member of the Fred Perry Cup team.

At the University at Buffalo Ken was an NCAA All-American on the Men’s Tennis team, and has been inducted into both the Buffalo Tennis and University at Buffalo Athletics Hall of Fames.
