The Mavericks Let The Win Slip Away Against Pitt-Bradford

BRADFORD, PA- The Medaille Mavericks slip to Pitt-Bradford 76-72 after controlling most of the first half Monday night.

The Mavs had the largest lead of the night (14) with 6:30 left in the first half. Medaille would then go on to get out scored 13-2 and take only a three point lead into half time.

Medaille shot 43.2% (16-37) in the first while the Pitt-Bradford finished the half 48.5% (16-33). The Mavs were 6-11 behind the three point line and the Panthers only 1-4.

The Panthers picked up the second half where they left off and quickly took the lead. The game went back and forth ten times in the second half. Pitt-Bradford took the last lead with 45 seconds left to finish the game. The Panthers shot 83.3% (15-18) from the line in the second half while the Mavericks only shot 50% (3-6).

Medaille was led by junior, Jammal Coleman with 24 points and 3 assists. Senior, Robby Seyler was close behind with 18 points and 2 assists. Cooper Calzonetti led the boards with 10 rebounds.

The Mavericks will look to bounce back this Saturday (1/25) at Mount Aloysius.
