Senior Joe Hacherl had (21) digs on Saturday.CHAMBERSBURG, PA – The Medaille Mavericks Men's Volleyball team wrapped up their second NEAC Crossover weekend on Saturday, taking on the Chargers of Lancaster Bible College and the Phoenix of Wilson College. The Mavs completed the weekend sweep of their NEAC foes, taking down the Chargers (3-0; 25-12, 25-21, 25-23) and beating the host Phoenix (3-0; 25-10, 25-17, 25-14).
Medaille took control early on against Lancaster Bible, jumping out to a (15-9) lead in set number one before taking the set (25-15). The Chargers kept set number two much closer than set one, but a (6-2) run to close out the set helped Medaille take a (2-0) lead with a (25-21) victory.
The Mavericks completed the sweep in set number three, taking it by a score of (25-23) to improve their record to (11-7) overall and (6-0) in conference play.
The third and final match of the weekend pitted the Mavericks against host Wilson College, looking to stay undefeated in NEAC play. That is exactly what they did, earning their second sweep of the day with a (3-0; 25-10, 25-17, 25-14) victory over the Phoenix.

Pete McKelvey (Buffalo, NY, Canisius) led the Mavericks with (15) kills each; while the freshman duo of
Matt Dempsey (Clarence, NY, Clarence) and
Brad Schneider (Lockport, NY, Lockport) combined for (57) assists as Medaille improved to (12-7) overall and (7-0) in NEAC play. Senior
Joe Hacherl (Tonawanda, NY, St, Joseph's CI) added (21) digs as Medaille will be off until March 12 when they face SUNY Poly and Wells College in Utica, New York.
