Biography

AS A SOPHOMORE (2013-14) - Grandits averaged (10.0) points per game during his sophmore year.  He had a career high (20) points against LaRoche College and a season high (7) rebounds against Penn State Behrend.  Grandits started (19) games.  He was also recognized by the  National Association of Basketball Coaches (2013-2014) Honors Court for his excellence in the classroom as well as on the court.

AS A FRESHMAN (2012-13) - Grandits received progressive playing time as the season went on.  He averaged (4.0) points per game off of the bench.

HIGH SCHOOL - While in high school, Ryan was named the Kenmore West Blue Devils MVP as a senior.  He was also named to the All Niagara Frontier League First Team.

PERSONAL - Ryan is a Sport Management major.  He is the son of Jim and Denise Grandits.  He has two brothers, Scott and Tyler.

FAVORITE MEMORY AT MEDAILLE  - Grandits's favorite memory at Medaille was when he took a team trip down to Miami during his freshman season.

WHY I CHOSE TO ATTEND MEDAILLE - Ryan chose Medaille because of the basketball program's rich history.
