BUFFALO, N.Y. - Medaille College Athletics has announced men's soccer goalkeeper Dante Gesamondo (Lynnfield, MA, Lynnfield) and women's volleyball setter Haley Kennedy (Chestermere, AB, Chestermere) as the Athletes of the Week for the week of October 18 - October 24.

Gesamondo continued his stellar performance in net this week to keep the Medaille winning streak alive. Gesamondo recorded an impressive 12 saves in the win over Penn State Behrend. He followed that up with another four saves in the win over Mount Aloysius College. Gesamondo's 16 total saves kept the Mavs undefeated in AMCC play.


Kennedy continued to run the offense efficiently last week against the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford and Mount Aloysius College. Despite losing in five sets, Kennedy put up a strong performance of 33 assists, 12 digs, three aces, and six kills good for a .333 hitting percentage. Kennedy added another 28 assists and five digs in the match against Pitt-Bradford.
