KEUKA PARK, NY - The Medaille College baseball team wrapped up the 2013 campaign today with a split against non-conference foe Keuka College.  Keuka College won the first game (16-5), before Medaille bounced back to win the second game (21-8).

In a season that saw Medaille leave runners in scoring position routinely, it was a change of pace as they exploded for  (27) hits on the afternoon.

Medaille was led offensively by Patrick Leipold, who recorded (5) hits on the afternoon.  Fellow seniors Mike Volpe and Nate Schrlau also chipped in with (4) hits of their own.

Senior Jeff Benz got the win in game two.  After struggling in the first two innings, Jeff was able to bounce back and pitch four more innings holding the Keuka offense at bay, allowing Medaille to take a commanding lead.  Senior Brad Smith pitched the seventh inning to finish off the season.
