A four-year member of the women's basketball program from 2004 to 2008, Marisa Clark remains one of the best players in program history. She finished her illustrious career by scoring 1,321 points and grabbing 581 total rebounds. Additionally, in her four years at Medaille she dished out 656 assists and defensively was credited with 408 steals.

When Clark graduated in 2008, her career steal mark was good for 19th all-time in NCAA Division III history, while her 656 assists ranked ninth all-time. She also finished her four years averaging 5.9 assists per game which tied her for 21st all-time in the NCAA record books.

To date, Clark still ranks 13th all-time in career assists in NCAA DIII history. She also finished each season ranked in at least the top 16 nationally in assists and steals per game as a freshman, sophomore and junior.

With a floor general like Clark running the Maverick offense, it was no surprise that Medaille reached new heights in the women's basketball program. During Clark's tenure as a Maverick, the women's basketball team cracked the Top 25 nationally for the first time in program history. The team was nationally ranked on 23 different occasions and climbed as high as number 13 in the country.

During this four-year span, the team became a dominant force in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference. The Mavs won both the AMCC Regular Season and Tournament Championships in each of Clark's last three seasons, while competing in the NCAA tournament.
