A pivotal member of the Medaille men's soccer team from 2003-2006, Cory Cwiklinski's athletic accomplishments have left their mark on the program's record book. Cwiklinski captained the 2005 team that won the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Championship, which sent the soccer team to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history.
Cwiklinski took the collegiate soccer world by storm, scoring 24 goals in his freshman campaign. He would go on to score 15 goals his sophomore year, 21 goals his junior year and capped off his senior season with 11 goals in 2006. His career marks of 71 goals and 42 assists combined for a total 184 points. Cwiklinski can be found in the Medaille record books ranked in the top 10 in ten different statistical categories.
In addition to the Medaille accolades, Cwiklinski's name remains in the NCAA record books as he's currently tied for 19th all-time in NCAA Division III history in total points. Cwiklinski is also one of only 19 players in NCAA men's soccer history to earn 40 goals and 40 assists in their career. Of those 19 players, only two have more total goals than Cwiklinski. His freshman season was arguably the best debut for any men's soccer player in NCAA history. As a freshman, he led the nation by scoring 3.42 points per game and became the first Maverick to earn an NCAA Division III scoring title.
